He is survived by his wife, Gloria, of 50 years; and their three children, Mike (Caren; Nick and Jessica) of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Chris (Denise; Chrystina, Caitlyn, Dylan) of Urbandale, Iowa, and Rob (Tracee; Makayla, Brooklyn, Kaden, Kennedy) of Shakopee, Minn.; brothers Wesley (Elayne), Ronald (Kathie) and James (Mary); and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends, too numerous to list but not forgotten. Following graduation, Mark worked as the travel/equipment manager for the Chameleons. He also had a passion for hunting where he recruited and assembled his closest friends for annual treks through South Dakota, Montana, Texas, and Mexico. He grew up in South Minneapolis, earned his Eagle Scout Award, and served in the Air Force-just missing a deployment with the end of WWII. Every summer Beverly and family would drive back to the family cabin on Ten Mile Lake from Moraga, Ca. Over the next 47 years Kim suffered numerous surgeries, hospitalizations and illness from the ravages of lupus. He is also survived by Susans sister Christie Dailey; and Susans two nieces, Sarah Dailey and Amy Dailey-Williams and their three sons, Kyle Dailey, Barrett Williams and Hudson Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Carmen. Nancy married David Alton James, an insurance executive, in 1975. Nancy and David moved in 2000 to Vi at La Jolla Village, a retirement community, where they continued to have an active social life. David died in 2011. They were married on July 10, 1948, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. His love of life was a treasure and he lived it to the end. Judy had many hobbies, interests and talents such as hiking, traveling, sewing, singing in the church choir, but perhaps enjoyed nothing more than swimming, whenever and wherever, be it in lakes, rivers, pools or the Gulf of Mexico at Clearwater Beach, FL. Just hours before her death, she took a long walk on the golf course that bordered her apartment. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hackensack and was active in church activities. The family was first introduced to Ten Mile in 1954 by friends who lived in Clarion. Sarah was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Mary Ann Young and Malcolm J. Schmidt. Sarah spent her early years in Illinoisand Iowa. Sarah lived for many years in San Francisco, California and Seattle, Washington, finally settling in the Hackensack/Walker, Minnesota area in 1996. Sarah was an elementary school teacher in Walker for about ten years. He spent freely to buy bird seed to stock the bird feeders on his deck. After graduation she married Bob Moe and shortly thereafter, they moved back to Madelia where Kim maintained charge nurse at Truman Home and Luther Memorial Home till her retirement in 2000.
